Background
At a backyard movie night, I mapped chair placements, wind direction, and pit height, then logged thermal comfort at knees and shoulders. We lowered the flame, lifted the pit, and added a screen. Conversations got easier, jackets came off, and the dog stopped circling. Everyone stayed later, happy.
Perspective
I favor quiet comfort and ergonomics over raw BTUs or flashy flames.
